Over the past 25 years we’ve witnessed the transformational power of recognition time and time again. We’ve seen recognition bestow confidence on people, empowering them to go on to achieve amazing things because of it. Indeed, thoughtful recognition paired with beautiful awards is a potent tool for cultivating emerging leaders, building stronger communities, and amplifying impact.

Over the same time, we’ve also seen a lot of great organizations hustling to make things happen in their communities. However, few of them appreciate the potential and power of recognition, so they don’t budget for it and consequently, miss out on tapping into one of the most effective ways of empowering champions within their organization and community. In addition to the obvious benefits of making people happy and creating room to celebrate, a good recognition program can also help:

empower emerging leaders and champions within your organization and community leaders
attract new volunteers and grow your team
communicate your values and raise the profile of your organization
attract new donors and inspire people to participate
strengthen relationships with suppliers, partners and stakeholders
improve the engagement of your team and community
create positive and uplifting stories for your social media

So in 2011 we created our Community Partnership Program to help smaller organizations flourish and advance their missions through the use of recognition and awards. Our goal is to invest in our communities by building long-term relationships with organizations that are doing purpose driven work and building resilience. We partner with organizations that we admire and respect, show them how to use recognition effectively, deeply subsidize any awards they used, and then demonstrate value and impact by sharing the stories and experiences that emerge.

OVERVIEW

As a Community Partner, we will enter into a 3-year agreement which allows us to develop our relationship over time. After an initial meeting to learn about your organization and goals, we will provide you with up to 3 hours of free recognition consulting per year, special pricing on personalized awards, social media support on our networks, discounts on rush services, plus a 15% legacy discount that continues indefinitely:

In lieu of quantity discounts, Community Partners receive deep discounts on our handcrafted and eco-friendly awards,

Year 1: 70% discount on awards from our house collection, 50% discount on rush services

Year 2: 60% discount on awards from our house collection, 40% discount on rush services

Year 3: 50% discount on awards from our house collection, 30% discount on rush services

Year 4 and beyond: 15% legacy discount on awards

In return, we request:

A link and short description from your website to www.eclipseawards.com
Mentions on your social media networks, as appropriate
That you share stories and photos of how recognition affects your organization and impact
That you consider the value of recognition to your organization

WHO CAN APPLY?

We're looking to partner with awesome non-profit organizations who are actively working to amplify their purpose and impact in any of the following areas:

climate change
forest conservation / restoration / regeneration
reduction of herbicides and pesticides
reconciliation and empowering first nations youth
arts & culture,
oceans, rivers and streamkeepers
wildlife conservation
youth education, advocacy, or healthcare
mental health
homelessness
animal shelters
women's health and safety
suicide prevention

Applications are always open and we choose one new Community Partner per quarter at the end of every March, June, September and December. Your application will carry over into the next quarter for up to a year.
